Promoting STEM Education

STEM education in the United States is growing. More schools are recognizing the importance of STEM learning and incorporating it into their curriculums.

STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) is important because it pervades every aspect of our lives. Students exposed to STEM concepts will see how they relate to the world around them, and this may spark a passion for a future career in a STEM field. STEM activities encourage teamwork and experimentation, and students learn problem solving. STEM makes math and science both fun and interesting.

MathTutor Educational Software wants to promote STEM opportunities, and in particular to encourage the participation of girls and minorities. We are committed to working with local schools and other organizations to promote STEM educational programs and after school activities.

We are pleased to donate copies of the MathTutor Software Series to STEM-related programs, and to provide financial assistance. Many of the MathTutor software programs incorporate real-world scenarios into math lessons and exercises.

We encourage schools that are interested in receiving copies of our software to contact us at: stem@mathtutor.com
